Making Quick Money

Do people come to the USA because they love freedom or because they're greedy & want to get rich quick 3?Marks?

I see posts suggesting people come to America because they love freedom; but when you talk to new arrivals they want to get rich and take the money back home. Even the Small business Institute requires you to be an immigrant to qualify for the class.

3. its a combination of both....the US has a lot of wealth, people want to make money...but it's not greed, it's sometimes out of sheer necessity..
4. both. you have immigrants who come here for a better pay, work for a few years then go back home. and you have immigrants who come to live the rest of their lives here in America and become naturalized citizens.

8. Most immigrants I know send the money they make back to their homeland. I work with a Haitian woman who sends half her paycheck back to Haiti. Other countries don't like us. They just want a slice of the American Pie.
9. try living in a third world country for one year and then write this question. i have lived in a third world country for 4 years and its refreshing each time i come back home but also a shock to see how close we are to becoming one.

11. Immigrant come to the U.S. because they got a good paying job (considering what they are getting from the country they come from)! Most of them are in the Healthcare field (of which Americans doesn't have enough people to take the job, or they might not like to engage in that kind of job)and Technologies ! The wanted life in America because they will have a better future and most of them knows how to handle their finances and doesn't over spend their money if they don't have! They can handle to work 2 jobs not like the rest of the Americans! I believe that they are more responsible citizens (especially from the fareast) and pay their dues every year end! They are very productive citizens (if you did the research) more tolerant to any racist people sorrounds them ( I always believe that racism doesn't go away soon , because every race there's always racism in them) Immigrants loves freedom at the same time , they like to help their own family (since there's no hands out down there,not like in North America, even you don't have a job, you can collect welfare). In North America, charities are very common and you can write it off during taxation time, there you can keep giving but no tax write offs! Every immigrant could get rich (remember the American dream) and dream the American dream, because that will be the goal! If every Americans will be living the dream , there are lot's of jobs out there (especially healthcare) they just need to dream and start retraining! As an immigrant in North America, I tried to live the dream not only for me, but I try to help 5 students to college , to live the dream too, through helping them financially! I am not getting rich financially but I believe that God's Belssings gave me a big heart and great health , that's my wealth!
