What is a good way to get fast money from parents?

I'm 12 and I need some fast money to go to the movies. I get $5 each Saturday for dusting the house and cleaning my bathroom sink. I would ask for money but I just asked and I got $10 but i spent it. My brother gets $40 each Saturday but he cleans the whole house so there aren't any other jobs to do.

1. You should let your parents know that you want more money and why you want it. Then offer to do any service and see what they come up with. I'm sure they'll find a chore for you to do.
2. Like the rest of us, if you spent the money on something else, then you will just have to wait until next week to go to the movies. You don't have to spend the money as soon as you get it (for future reference).
3. Don't even think about asking right now. You blew your weekly $5, plus you blew through an extra $10. You need to learn to budget. Learn it now or suffer later. At your age, you need to save at least half of every cent that comes in, preferably 75%. You are going to have great need of that money sooner than you think, so start saving. Then budget what is left on things you need, then things you want. Once you have a budget set up and are managing properly, then ask your parents what else you can do to earn more money around the house. Once you learn how to do more, and do it well, you can use those skills to start earning money as a mother's helper, babysitter, or other jobs. If you increase your income before you learn how to manage what you have, you'll blow it all and end up with nothing! Zip, zilch, zero, zippedydoodah.
